The 225mm / 8.9″ blade with beautiful hamon and silky, hand-sanded satin finish balances just in front of the 59mm tall heel. The choil’s rounded and contoured form at the rear of the blade, together with the rounded spine and sculpted handle that culminates in the front with a slim, tapered, and heirloom-fit brass ferrule, result in a wonderful and natural feel in the pinch grip, while providing equal comfort and control in the hammer grip. Thin, sharp, and hard at the edge, Saul’s geometry is, as always, second to none, delivering a full-distal taper along the spine, fine, pointed tip, and versatile profile for all manner of daily mea12l prep.
