This iconic model of this long-time Eatingtools artist has been gracing the pages of our collection for a decade, yet Don only crafts a handful a year in the well-loved form seen here. In the low-maintenance, high-performance stainless damascus is a slim, razor-sharp, precision blade designed for handheld peeling and carving work above the board, delicate slices, and detail cuts of all variety. A rounded blade spine tapers steadily to a fine tip, with expertly honed convex bevel geometry throughout. In a combination of materials as handsome as any in Don’s always unique, always elegant style comes a handle sculpted from purple dyed and stabilized maple inlaid and capped with vintage Westinghouse blue-marbled glass epoxy micarta. The handle’s shape, Don’s wa-style rendition, tapers just so and fills the hand for comfort and control over every cut.
