Copper & Steel Egg Spoon

Perhaps one of the most unique and niche tools in a chef’s arsenal, the egg spoon provides a raw, agrarian method of preparing this versatile staple: frying atop the coals of a fire. Forged by hand in Colorado by Jill Rikkers, this beautiful object features an extra-long 820mm / 32″ handle for safe handling at the fireplace, hammered and textured for grip, and embellished with a decorative copper end, secured with brass pins, for hanging on the wall. The bowl, finished with a lovely brushed and hammered sheen, is contoured just so for cooking an egg at a time.
