Double Black Butcher Block & Plate

Black limba, black walnut, and maple form the Double Black end-grain butcher block by cutting board whisperer Luke Martin of Owl Woodworks. Meticulously crafted at his studio in western Canada, the sultry black limba seems to mask shadows as they attempt to reveal themselves through the haze of the night. Rays of maple strike through dark anchors of black oak to ground the one-of-a-kind culinary tool created of unexpected organic matter. Juice grooves are milled along two perpendicular sides, with a half-moon cutout at the opposite short side, under which the matching, hand-turned plate fits snugly. For a solid, slip-free cutting experience, premium brass, stainless, and silicone feet are included.
