In pre-owned, like-new condition, the 225mm / 8.9″ blade is forged by hand from a stunning pattern of Jordan’s design and making. Thin at the edge below strong, expertly shaped convex bevels, a hybrid-style profile that is relatively straight with a low tip while offering enough ‘belly’ to rock nicely on the board delivers unmatched utility and versatility to the cutting board. The comfortable, rounded blade spine tapers steadily form the forged integral bolster forward to a needle-like tip. Wonderfully weighted and balanced just in front of the heel, this knife exudes power in the hand, crafted for the most demanding cuts and the most precise slices alike. The handle, simple, handsome, and for all intents and purposes, perfect if you ask us, is sculpted from mahogany wood which meets metal with a superbly detailed, stepped-down museum fit through a ring of polished brass. To hold this knife is to understand the nuances of an object shaped by a master of his craft. Jordan is, in fact, one of few ABS Master Bladesmiths in the world.
