Pirarucu Leather Knife Roll

The picture of luxurious transport for your most coveted chef’s tools. Stitched by hand using waxed Irish linen thread, the Pirarucu Knife Roll is crafted from one of the only sustainable exotic fish leathers in the world. At her studio in northern New Hampshire, artist Linny Kenney combines the leather of the pirarucu fish, sourced from small fishing towns in Brazil supported by the sustainable harvesting of the species, placing it atop free-range Italian beef leather, with interior of bio-suede from Portugal. The hardware and clasps are made from nickel-plated solid brass. The roll carries 12 knives and has a 5″ X 18″ interior pocket on one end. There are two 3” pockets for extra fat handles, four 2.5” pockets and two 2” pockets along the bottom row. The top row has two 2.5” pockets and two 2” pockets. The roll measures 25.5″ X 18″ when fully opened.
